A Home Designed for Living with Art | In some homes, art is simply an addition to the space. In this project, art became the foundation around which the entire home was imagined

The Art Loft was designed for a client who deeply appreciates art, culture, and the joy of hosting. From the earliest conversations, it was clear that the home needed to function in multiple ways — as a personal sanctuary, a vibrant social space for gatherings, and a living gallery that could celebrate the client’s evolving art collection.
Our design approach focused on creating a home that felt personal and expressive, while ensuring that every element supported the client’s lifestyle and passions.

A key aspiration for the client was to transform her home into a space where art could truly be experienced. Rather than limiting artwork to walls, we approached the interiors as a series of curated moments.
Throughout the living areas, a rhythm of soft architectural arches was introduced. These arches create natural niches and frames that allow artwork to be displayed with intention. Instead of traditional gallery walls, these architectural pauses provide depth, framing each piece as part of the spatial narrative.
The result is a home that feels layered and expressive — where architecture itself becomes a canvas that supports and enhances the artwork it holds.

A study and work area has been subtly integrated into the bedroom layout. Rather than isolating the workspace, it is gently separated so that it remains part of the room while still offering a sense of focus and quiet. This allows the client to comfortably work from home without disrupting the restful quality of the space.

The bedroom was envisioned as a more personal and introspective environment.
The room carries forward the design language of the home through the continued use of arches and carefully integrated storage. Vibrant hues are balanced with softer tones, creating a layered yet calming atmosphere that reflects the personality of the homeowner.

A Guest Room with Character
The guest bedroom continues the theme of art and comfort. Designed to feel welcoming and intimate, the room provides additional surfaces and niches for displaying artwork.
Soft textures, layered lighting, and warm materials help create a cosy and inviting atmosphere, ensuring guests experience the same thoughtful attention to detail found throughout the home.
