This exclusive international hotel chain for private members is situated at the beach of Juhu, Mumbai. The nine story building houses 38 boutique hotel rooms, various restaurants, a library, a health club, a lounge, ground floor lobby and a roof terrace with a pool. We designed, detailed, selected, coordinated and implemented most of the FF&E, such as the loose furniture, lights, rugs, curtains. We worked closely together with the in-house designers of Soho house based out of their headquarters in London.
Rich tapestry of Indian colors and materials woven into every detail. It's a genuine showcase of authentic local aesthetics, presented with a refined grace. Customized furniture and lighting, adorned with intricate patterns, dot the spaces, each piece a small work of art that contributes to a larger symphony of visual delight.
TESTIMONIAL
LMC had a natural understanding of what Soho House were trying to achieve!
We really enjoyed working with Lara and the team at LMC on Soho House Mumbai. They really helped pull everything together between the Soho House team in London and the on-the-ground requirements in Mumbai. It wasn’t easy because of the huge amount of different design elements which needed to be sourced and coordinated on a tight timetable, combined with the challenges of execution in India.

Soho Hospitality India
The design philosophy itself drew inspiration from Mumbai's inherent duality, mirroring the city's ceaseless energy and serene moments.
On one side, the building's elegant French windows frame those breathtaking Juhu Beach sunsets, painting the sky in a new masterpiece each evening. On the other, they offer a front-row seat to the kinetic, vibrant pulse of Juhu Tara Road. This beautiful contrast became a guiding principle, shaping a contemporary interpretation of Indian aesthetics where classic elegance warmly embraces localized charm.
The integration of traditional Indian elements feels utterly seamless, yet undeniably striking. Take the Jaipur textiles, for instance—their celebrated patterns and vibrant hues lend a natural warmth and authenticity, set against the sophisticated, almost geometric lines of Art Deco-inspired tiled floors. It's this intelligent interplay of heritage and modernism that truly defines the club's unique character.
