The creation of Soho House Mumbai required blending the signature intimate luxury interiors of the Soho House brand with the vibrant rich cultural heritage of India. LMC Architects was privileged to be deeply embedded in this process, working hand-in-hand with the esteemed in-house design team at Soho House Headquarters in London.

Our comprehensive scope involved:

• · FF&E Curation and Procurement: The meticulous selection and management of Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment across 38 unique spaces, including the restaurants, gym, and pool deck. This focus on FF&E Project Management ensured every detail met global standards.
  
  
• · Architectural Planning: Providing essential technical expertise and architectural design for the stunning new Cecconi's Garden Lounge.

 

Blending Global Trends with Contemporary Indian Aesthetics

To deliver a truly "remarkable stay," the design required more than just surface-level luxury—it demanded meticulous attention to detail and a conscious effort to utilize the best of local resources.

Key Design Pillars:

· Textural Luxury & Artisanal Finishes: We achieved an elevated sense of design by integrating authentic, local aesthetics. This involved selecting Jaipur textiles and contrasting them with Art Deco-inspired tiled floors. Every piece of custom hotel furniture and finish was chosen to contribute to the overall feeling of Textural Luxury.

·  Strategic Space Planning: In spaces like the teal-painted restaurant, elegant chandeliers and layered lighting design were implemented to create a refined setting that perfectly captures the breathtaking sunsets over Juhu Beach. This high-end hospitality design ensures maximum aesthetic functionality.

·  Technical Expertise in Sourcing: By serving as the on-the-ground partner, LMC provided the crucial bridge for successful execution. We ensured the innovative design concepts from the London team were realized using local materials that adhere to strict international commercial-grade quality, providing custom design solutions rooted in a global perspective.
